When can you enroll or change plans?
There are many times throughout the year where you can newly enroll, or switch plans based on your situation. Call me to clarify which enrollment period you would qualify for!
Initial Enrollment Period (7 month period) - 3 months before you turn 65, the month of your birthday or 3 months after you turn 65.
Medicare Supplement Open Enrollment - Your Open Enrollment for Supplement Plans is the first 6 months after enrolling in Medicare Part B.
Special Enrollment Period - You lose Employer Health Insurance, you move out of an Advantage Plan Service Area, Your Medicare Advantage or Supplement Plan ceases doing business.
Low Income Subsidy - You gain or lose Low Income Subsidy, or have LIS and wish to change plans.
Annual Enrollment Period - During the Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare Drug and Advantage Plans begins October 15 and ends December 7.
